Chatblix is a unified customer-messaging and AI customer-support platform that brings WhatsApp Business, Instagram Direct, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, TikTok messages, and email into a single inbox so businesses can manage every conversation in one place.
Chatblix is owned and operated by TD TECH PVT LTD ("Chatblix", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Nepal with its registered office at Rabibhawan, Kathmandu, Nepal. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the Chatblix website at https://chatblix.com and the Chatblix application, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to information we process as a controller about: visitors to our website; account holders and their team members who use the Chatblix application; and end users who message our customers' connected channels and whose messages flow through Chatblix.
When a business uses Chatblix to communicate with its own customers, that business is the controller of its customers' personal data and Chatblix acts as a processor on its behalf. In that role we handle data only according to the business's instructions and our agreement with them. For questions about how a particular business uses your data, please contact that business directly.
Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information: your name, business name, email address, phone number, password, and role within your organization.
- Billing information: subscription plan and payment details, which are processed securely by our third-party payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Support and communications: messages, attachments, and contact details you send when you contact us or request support.
Information from connected channels
When you connect a messaging channel (such as a WhatsApp Business account, Facebook Page, Instagram Professional account, Telegram bot, TikTok account, or Gmail mailbox), we receive and process the message content, sender profile details (such as display name, profile picture, and platform user ID), timestamps, and metadata needed to deliver, route, and reply to those conversations in your unified inbox.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages and features used, actions taken, and time spent, which help us operate and improve the product.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and diagnostic logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure performance (see "Cookies and Tracking").
Platform Data (Meta, TikTok, Telegram & Google)
Chatblix integrates with third-party platforms exclusively through their official APIs. We never scrape data, and we only request the minimum permissions needed to provide the features you enable. Our access to and use of Platform Data complies with each platform's developer terms and policies.
Meta Platforms (Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp)
When you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram Professional account, or WhatsApp Business account, we use the Meta Graph API and WhatsApp Business Platform to receive and send messages on your behalf. We may access your Pages, the conversations and messages sent to those Pages or accounts, basic profile information of the people messaging you, and the business assets you authorize.
- Use: we use this data only to display your conversations in the Chatblix inbox, let you and your team reply, enable AI-assisted and automated responses you turn on, and surface analytics about your messaging.
- No unauthorized use: we do not use Meta Platform Data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not transfer it to data brokers.
- Compliance: our use of Meta Platform Data follows the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, including data-use, deletion, and retention requirements.
TikTok
If you connect a TikTok account, we use TikTok's official APIs to receive and respond to messages and to access the basic account information you authorize. We use this data solely to provide the Chatblix messaging features you enable, in accordance with TikTok's Developer Terms and policies, and we do not repurpose or sell it.
Telegram and Google (Gmail)
If you connect Telegram, we process messages routed through your authorized bot. If you connect Gmail, we use Google APIs to read and send email in the connected mailbox only as needed to provide the inbox features you enable; our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How We Use Information
- Provide the service: deliver your unified inbox, route conversations, send and receive messages across connected channels, and maintain your account.
- AI and automation: generate suggested or automated replies, summaries, and lead-stage insights for the features you enable.
- Improve the product: analyze usage to fix issues, develop features, and improve reliability and performance.
- Customer support: respond to your requests and provide technical assistance.
- Security and fraud prevention: protect accounts, detect abuse, and keep the platform safe.
- Billing: process subscriptions and payments.
- Legal compliance: comply with applicable laws and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
AI Processing
Chatblix uses artificial-intelligence models to draft replies, summarize conversations, and provide insights. To do this, relevant message content and context may be sent to trusted AI service providers that act as our processors under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. We instruct these providers not to use your content to train their general-purpose models. AI output can be imperfect, and you remain responsible for reviewing messages before they are sent where your configuration requires review.
Legal Basis for Processing
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract: to provide the service you have signed up for.
- Legitimate interests: to secure, operate, and improve the platform, where not overridden by your rights.
- Consent: for optional features and certain cookies; you may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: to comply with laws that apply to us.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes.
- Account data: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal and accounting obligations.
- Conversation and message data: retained while your account is active or until you or your organization delete it, after which it is removed from active systems within a reasonable period.
- Logs: retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
When you disconnect a platform or delete your account, we delete or de-identify the associated Platform Data in line with each platform's requirements and applicable law.
Your Rights & Data Deletion
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You can also opt out of marketing emails at any time.
How to exercise your rights or request deletion
- In-app: you can edit your profile, disconnect channels, and delete conversations or your account from your settings.
- By email: send a request to [email protected] and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally within 30 days).
- Connected-platform data: disconnecting a channel removes our ongoing access and triggers deletion of the associated Platform Data. To request deletion of data we obtained from Meta, TikTok, Telegram, or Google, email [email protected] with the account details.
If you exercise these rights, we will not discriminate against you. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
International Data Transfers
Chatblix operates globally and may process and store data in countries other than your own, including through cloud providers. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards — such as Standard Contractual Clauses — to protect personal data transferred across borders.
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, authentication, and monitoring. Our application connects to our backend over the same secure origin using HttpOnly, SameSite session cookies. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to safeguard your information and will notify you of a material breach as required by law.
Children's Privacy
Chatblix is a business tool intended for use by adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
